The Connections Team is hosting a viewing of the movie "Wonder" on March 2 in Fellowship Hall. They will provide a few snacks, but bring some of your own so we can have a nice assortment to choose from. This is a whole church connection event, all are welcome to join. Email Carol Raisner with questions firstname.lastname@example.org
As Redwood High School's "PTA", Trinity provides snacks and oranges every month for those students who come to school hungry or aren't able to qualify for a free lunch. Redwood's students are dealing with huge challenges and being hungry shouldn't be one of them. Please consider donating healthy snacks or monetarily during the 3-week snack drive beginning February 11 after worship in Fellowship Hall. Snack ideas include nuts, cereal bars, raisins, peanut butter crackers, soft granola bars and should be individually packaged.
Do you have a great chili recipe that feeds tons of people? The deacons are looking for ten or more people to cook a big pot of chili for our Youth Mexico prayer partner dinner on March 4. Please contact Christina Pearson if interested email@example.com.

Trinity Presbyterian Church is excited to bring Dr. Soong-Chan Rah, pastor, writer and educator, to the Bay Area.
Dr. Rah, Professor of Church Growth and Evangelism at North Park University, will be leading a workshop and lecture on “The Church’s Call to Justice in Troubled Times” from 2-5pm. The event is free and we ask that you RSVP through Eventbrite so that Trinity Presbyterian Church can adequately prepare for how many people may attend. There will be snacks and beverages available during and after the lecture.
The presentation will be in the sanctuary on the second floor of the building.
Topic: “The Church’s Call to Justice in Troubled Times”
-Hour 1: How do we understand the world in which we live. What leads to troubled times?
-Hour 2: A biblical understanding of justice: what theological lenses shape how we address these issues?
-Hour 3: What can we do about it? How can we change narratives and imagination to participate in the Christian call to justice?
This is an open lecture and all people from the community are invited to participate.
One of his recent books is called Prophetic Lament and you can get it on Amazon here.
Beginning on Palm Sunday (March 25), the Community Outreach Ministry Team will hold a monetary drive for three weeks to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank. Recently, we have realized that contributions of money actually go further toward helping provide meals than canned goods. If this ministry touches your heart, we encourage you to donate generously to this ministry at that time."
