All recent visitors and baptized members 9th grade and above are welcome to our first combined class on

September 29. We will be looking at our baptismal vows and the Apostles’ Creed which goes back to the 4th century - long before that when you consider it is all rooted in scripture - and which is called the faith or creed of our baptism. New Members will have one more class (two for those getting baptized) and youth will have at least 2-3 more classes. We are still finalizing the time for the class but it will probably be in the early evening. There will be a second class on our local church, and the Presbyterian tradition and a sense of calling to membership or perhaps not as this relates to the narratives of Moses and Isaiah. 

After the classes, if you would like to become a member, you will attend one of the upcoming Session Meetings where you will talk briefly about your spiritual journey and/or religious upbringing and be officially received into membership pending your profession or reaffirmation of faith in worship one Sunday. Confirmands will have 2-4 more classes depending on their age. There will be an expectations for 'active membership' for all youth who get confirmed in the year after confirmation.
