Change a Life ministry (CALM)

One of Trinity's Core Values is Measuring Impact By Lives We Touch, and one of the ways we fulfill this is through the Change A Life Ministry (CALM). This ministry has been providing financial and spiritual support to individuals and organizations within the Bay Area and globally for over 20 years. CALM provides grants and scholarships to individuals and organizations in order to positively change the trajectory of a life. The CALM mission statement is:

Follow the Lord's commandment to help the needy by improving the trajectory of individuals lives through financial and spiritual support .

Deuteronomy 15:11: For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land. (King James Version)

Helping the needy

Jesus commands us to help the poor and needy (Deuteronomy 15:11). CALM strives to fulfill this commandment by providing grants to individuals that can positively change the trajectory of their lives. Examples include grants for rent assistance, emergency auto repair, and assisting recent immigrants.

Community Assistance

Community organizations can have a huge impact on people's lives. CALM offers grants to local and global organizations that directly impact individuals. Examples include grants for job training to help inmates get jobs upon release, funding that allows teenagers to attend high school in Romania and grants that allow foster children in Albania to get orthodontics.

Educational Support
